Marc and Vest receive the 2026 COSAC Award

Last week, our founder Marc Hullegie received the COSAC Award 2026 during the COSAC Security Conference. The COSAC committee unanimously decided to award Marc and Vest for the multidisciplinary contribution we have made to the global cybersecurity community and its stakeholders over the past 25 years, including 15 years of active involvement in the COSAC community.

COSAC, led by David Lynas, has been bringing together cybersecurity leaders, architects and practitioners from around the world for more than 30 years, providing a platform for peer-to-peer exchange, challenge and collaboration through its conferences and Patron community.

The award came as a complete surprise! For us, it is also a moment to reflect on the many colleagues, clients, partners and peers who have been part of the Vest journey over the years.

We contribute and interconnect with respected peers and stakeholders in a way that is within our DNA. This is who we are and what we have done for almost 25 years through our Vest community. We enjoy contributing at strategy (board) tables, creating tactical insights and supporting organisations through both structured and fit-for-the-environment highly effective approaches.

As Vest approaches its 25th anniversary, this recognition is a fitting moment to celebrate nearly 25 years of contributing to the people who create and use cyberspace. We look forward to continuing that contribution together with the Vest community in the years ahead!
